Fundraising for: Sharif’s Foster House
Sharif Charity is a registered charity in Iran for children aged 7 to 12 years of age. This is efforts of one family to support orphaned children or those with negligent parentage. They currently have 13 children (boys) between ages of 7 to 12 years old and have recently taken on 5 girls, all aged 5 years old. This centre is currently run in the family’s own apartments. However, under the Iranian Social Services Law, they need to provide separate accommodation for boys and girls above age 7. So they have two years to raise funds for renting or leasing additional housing in order to continue supporting the girls once they reach 7 years of age.
Masoud and Anahita climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise funds for this centre.
Iran’s children Charity supported the efforts of this centre and ensured funds raised were used to enable continued help for the needs of the children in their care.
